i recently ventured over to patriot place to check it out… pretty nice. Here’s a few things i saw..

new mini-app

I recently developed a new mini application to assist online players who want to improve their gin rummy game. Gin Advantage basically gives the player a perfect memory and is use alongside their game being played online. Players first double click the cards they are dealt in the deck pile to highlight them. As cards are placed into the discard pile and picked up by the opponent in the real online game, the Gin Advantage user mimics these move from the deck into the appropriate pile. This helps one keep track of all the cards in play, (like counting cards) ultimately giving you an advantage! This was developed for a client. I have no idea how well it works and quit frankly, i never played gin rummy - EVER! Gin Advantage is for entertainment purposes only. you can see a screen shot below.

Been very very busy!

I’ve been extremely busy with all sorts of stuff. I have lots and lots of new pics and new project updates on the way very soon. In the mean time I think you’ll find this to be very helpful (i didn’t make it up - found it on some obscure site somewhere) anyways…. my favorites are 16 and 26, and if you want, let me know which ones you like.

14. Blow the wrapper off a straw.
15. Have someone read you a story.
16. Find some pretty stones and save them.
17. Wear your favorite shirt with you favorite pants even if they don’t match.
18. Take a running jump over a big puddle.
19. Get someone to buy you something you really don’t need.
20. Hide your vegetables under your napkin.
21. Stay up past your bedtime.
22. Eat dessert first.
23. Fuss a little, then take a nap.
24. Wear red gym shoes.
25. Put way too much sugar on your cereal.
26. Make cool screeching noises every time you turn a corner.
27. Giggle a lot for no reason.
28. Give yourself a gold star for everything you do today.

cool new font for site

over the past couple days i have been messing around with sIFR 3 to give some of the text on my blog (wordpress cms) a new skin, the process was quit complicated. with strict rules and multiple javascript and css files it wasn’t too easy. sIFR 3 basically lets you use your favorite font on your website by cleverly working with Flash, JavaScript and CSS. check out the link below to find out more.

champion ring!

this past saturday i went to the red sox game and entered a raffle to win a world series ring! not only that but they let me try it on too… it was actually a little tight - i almost couldn’t get it off.

WOW! after a long and exciting season - it finally comes to a close, and man does it feel good to beat LA, 92 to 131! ‘world champions’ never thought i’d be saying that, especially after last season. below i’ve posted some of my favorite celtics commercials - check em out.
